President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko signed Law "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Touring Events in Ukraine" Regarding the Peculiarities of Organizing and Conducting Tours with the Participation of Citizens of the Aggressor-State".

Document № 2165—VIII adopted by the Parliament on October 5, 2017, improves the legal mechanism for the protection of Ukraine's national security and is a continuation of legislative steps to protect the national information and cultural space, in particular by introducing mechanisms to counteract anti-Ukrainian influences in touring.

The law envisages that during the conduct of touring events, calls for the propaganda of separatism, communist or national-socialist (Nazi) totalitarian regimes and their symbols are not allowed; forbids tours that popularize or promote the aggressor-state and its authorities, as well as tours, the participant of which is a person included in the List of persons posing a threat to national security, etc.

The document also specifies features of the organization and holding of tours, the participants of which are citizens of the aggressor-state.
