Two Ukrainian servicemen were wounded in combat area over 24 hours.

The situation in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area deteriorated by the end of Nov. 5 as the Russian-occupation troops continued assaulting positions of the Ukrainian Army with heavy weapons which should had been withdrawn from the demarcation line under Minsk peace deal.

Russian mercenaries stepped up combat activity in the conflict zone in eastern Ukraine. 

Most notably, they used Grad multiple missile launchers during attacks on Avdiivka and Opytne (both in Donetsk region). Mortar strikes were observed in Avdiivka, Pisky (Donetsk region), Novotoshkivske and Novooleksandrivka (Luhansk region).

"A total of 23 cease-fire violations were committed by the illegal armed groups over the past day. The enemy used multiple rocket launchers twice, mortars of various calibers eight times, and 122 mm artillery once. The ATO forces showed asymmetrical response to the enemy 14 times using infantry weapons", the situation report reads.

Two Ukrainian fighters sustained wounds in action, 112.UA reports.
