President Petro Poroshenko emphasizes that the Ukrainian military intelligence must continue development and reformation in order to introduce all NATO standards and technologies. It was stated at the festivities on the 25th anniversary of the military intelligence of Ukraine.

The President noted that further development of military intelligence in Ukraine is among the top priorities. “Strategic task of the Main Directorate of Intelligence is to reform the military intelligence, implement all the latest technologies and standards of Euro-Atlantic partners of Ukraine,” the President stressed. He noted that today the military intelligence officers have the latest technology, software, which they did not have 2-3 years ago. "The newest unmanned aerial vehicles, the means of electronic warfare, the weapons of scouts gave them the opportunity to increase the efficiency of their work," Petro Poroshenko emphasized.

“Today, the Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine is one of the most experienced intelligence bodies not only in Ukraine, but also in Europe,” Petro Poroshenko said.

“Your experience is now being studied by military intelligence around the world. Experience is positive, experience is victorious. The documents obtained, the information and analytical materials developed and presented, as well as other special measures carried out show that the transition to a qualitatively new level of military intelligence activities in Ukraine has already taken place,” the President noted.

Petro Poroshenko noted that the material-technical supply of the MDI had been significantly improved recently. In particular, the modern training center, which has no analogues in Europe, has been built under the NATO standards. “This is the result of our cooperation with our strategic partners from NATO countries - the United States of America, Great Britain, Poland and our other partners," the Head of State added.
