Blackout hits largest cities in Crimea
Blackout, Largest, Cities, Crimea

The electricity supply in the largest cities of occupied Crimea has been halted, Kryminform reports.

There is no electricity in Simferopol and Simferopol district, Yalta, Feodosia, Sudak, Kerch, Bakhchisaray district and some other settlements, according to Kryminform.

The reasons for the power outage remain unknown. "We are trying to find out what happened," Krymenergo said, adding that they have no power, either.

At the same time, as reported by the Latvian-based Russian-language news portal Meduza, according to the so-called "Minister of Fuel and Energy of Crimea" Vadim Belik, four lines of a power bridge, laid toward the peninsula from the territory of the Krasnodar region, have been cut off for unknown reasons.

"Taman's automatic emergency response automatics are in action. The reasons are being clarified," he said.
