The leaders of France, Germany and Russia will discuss the issue of Ukraine within the G20 summit that starts on July 6 in Hamburg. The German Government claimed this as Associated Press reported.​

The press secretary of the Chancellor of German Steffen Seibert claimed that it is still unknown when the meeting of Angela Merkel with the President of France Emmanuel Macron and the President of Russia Vladimir Putin will take place. Also, the issues that the European leaders are going to discuss are not specified.

The meeting of the G20 leaders will take place on July 7-8 in Hamburg.

France, Germany, Russia and Ukraine compose the so-called Normandy Format. The international search for solution of the Donbas Conflict takes place within this format. The first meeting of the Normandy Four took place in France. The Presidents and the representatives of the Foreign Ministries of Ukraine, Germany, France and Russia discussed the consequences of the Donbas Conflict and influence of the crisis on the Ukrainian economy.
