Przemysl district prosecutor’s office press charges against 20 Poles who attacked the peaceful march of Ukrainian Greek Catholics and Orthodox Christians who were headed to the local Ukrainian military cemetery to commemorate soldiers of Ukrainian liberation struggle. This was reported by the Polish Radio.

Speaker of the prosecutor’s office Marta Pentkovska said that the accused offended the march participants because of their nationality and forcefully held those in procession’s front to stop the march.

In addition, five men will be held responsible for acting in concert during the June celebrations, they hit and stopped one of the participants - Zenon K., preventing him from participating in the procession, and three others will also respond for hitting and jerking at the clothes of another man - Piotr K. - also because of his Ukrainian nationality.

All the accused face up to 3 years of imprisonment.

As it was reported earlier Polish Prosecutor’s Office charged Pole who chanted “Death to the Ukrainians”. He accused of illicit threats and incitement to ethnic hatred.

Earlier President bid farewell to the fallen Ukrainian heroes - reconnaissance officer Maksym Shapoval and official of the Security Service of Ukraine Yuriy Voznyi.
