Cases of the suspects in case on crash of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 (МН17) in Donbas are planned to be heard in the Netherlands according to the Dutch law. This was reported by the government of the country.

It is noted that such decision was taken by the countries that are part of the Joint International Investigation Team (JIT) - the Netherlands, Ukraine, Belgium, Malaysia and Australia.

At the moment, the investigation continues and this decision does not mean that the offenders will be brought to trial in the near future.

Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte noted on his Facebook page that the investigation on МН17 crash in Donbas continues for a long time already, but “step by step, the progress becomes visible.”

He hailed the decision of JIT, noting that the Dutch legal system has a good international reputation, and he expressed hope for restoration of justice in this case.

As it was reported earlier the international expert group Bellingcat unveiled a new photo, which confirms that the Buk, using which the Boeing 777 was shot down in the summer of 2014, was attributed to the Russian anti-aircraft missile brigade. This is stated in the report of the organization.
