The question of introducing visa-free travel for Ukrainians by Canada is not relevant now. This was stated by Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau, reports Ukrinform.

"We are looking forward to have a constructive conversation about a visa-free regime with Ukraine in the future, but for the time being this is not the issue," Trudeau said.He added that this question is often discussed.

"During my talks with President Poroshenko, during the communication between our officials this issue is being raised quite regularly. We have a reliable and detailed system with clear indicators that should be reached to start considering the issue of visa-free travel," the Prime Minister of Canada said.

According to him, Canada is trying to support "friends" in a difficult time."We are working to strengthen institutions, build a civil society, reform the judiciary and law enforcement systems, and fight against corruption. 

We are pleased to work with Ukraine in these areas, "Trudeau concluded.We remind, the visa-free regime with the countries of the European Union came into force on June 11 this year.
