The number of Russian troops grew higher on the territory of the occupied Crimea. Viktor Nazarenko, the Head of the Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported that in his interview to Interfax-Ukraine.

“We are aware of the expansion in the number of Russian Forces in the occupied Crimea, we are constantly spotting aerial reconnaissance, engineer consolidation of Russian troops’ stands, their boats and ship motion, periodic rotation of contingent of armed forces and border guard services,” commented Nazarenko.

Russian troops entered Crimea on February 22, 2014. Two days later Russian authorities said the process of “Crimean coming back” started. The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine officially adopted February 22, 2014 a day when the temporary occupation of Crimea and Sevastopol by Russia started. Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko signed the law on occupation of the Crimea on October 7, 2015.
