Memorial Avenue for Deceased Soldiers open in Dnipro

Unique Memorial Avenue devoted to deceased in the Donbas conflict and Revolution of Dignity will be opened on May 12 in Dnipro. More than 400 dignitaries will take part in the Heroes Honoring event. There will be politicians, diplomats, artists, Donbas conflict’s soldiers and their relatives. Valentyn Reznychenko the Governor of the Dnipro Regional Administration claimed this as an official website of the Administration reports.

‘During the creation of the Memorial Avenue, we diverged because we wanted to create something unusual and worthy of our Heroes. So such glass stele composition was created. The photos of more than 500 Dnipropetrovsk Region citizens, who deceased in the Donbas Conflict and Maidan will be placed there’, Reznychenko said.

According to him during the steles’ creation, the latest technologies such as dual printing on the glass and zoned highlighting were used. On the steles people will see front line photos made by Ukrainian military photographers such as Dmitryi Muravskiy .

During the arrangement of the Avenue veterans of the Donbas conflict, their relatives and members of the public planted more than 180 thuyas.

‘We invited international community representatives for the Memorial Avenue opening. The whole world can look in the eyes of the young men, who sacrificed their lives for quiet and peace not only in Ukraine but in the whole Europe’, Valentyn Reznychenko.
