Moscow court extended arrest of Sushchenko until June 30

Moscow court extended the arrest for Ukrainian journalist Roman Sushchenko. This was reported by his lawyer Mark Feigin in Twitter. “Lefortovo court of Moscow extended the term of arrest for Roman Sushchenko for two month until June 30, 2017,” he wrote. Ukrinform agency correspondent in France Roman Sushchenko was detained in violation of international rules in Moscow where he arrived with a private trip on September 30, 2016.

Earlier it was reported that Feigin awaits US resolutions on Sushchenko case. The lawyer expressed hope that Tillerson will raise the issue of illegally detained Ukrainian journalist during his the meeting with Lavrov.
