Donbas, Debt, Electricity, Almost, $407 million, Tuka

Deputy Minister for the temporarily occupied territories and internally displaced persons George Tuka named the amount of debt for electricity supplied to the uncontrolled territories. The debt of Luhansk Energy Association (LEO) is 185 billion dollars and in Donetsk region is around 220 billion dollars.

George Tuka said this on air of ICTV channel reports Ukrinform.

According to Tukia, recently the enterprises that consume electricity in the territory controlled by Ukraine are paying 100% of the cost, while businesses that consume electricity in the uncontrolled territories "continue to pay 0".

After the militants seized Ukrainian enterprises, any payments for electricity on the uncontrolled areas stopped. Thus, the debt continues to grow, Tuka added.

Earlier it was reported that Ukraine cut off electricity in occupied territories. Ukrenergo say the decision was made because of the debt for electricity supplied.
