In the course of the official visit to Denmark, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko had a meeting with representatives of the leading Danish companies.

The Head of State informed the attendees on the development of economic situation in the state. Petro Poroshenko emphasized that despite the ongoing Russian aggression, Ukraine managed to enter the path of macroeconomic growth: inflation indicators were lowered, energy reform was introduced, anti-corruption structure was created, decentralization was started. An ambitious judicial reform was initiated. “Why is it important? For investors could not find justice in courts,” the Head of State said. The President drew attention to the recently launched transparent system of VAT refund. “I was pleased to hear from the foreign leaders that we have made more in state reformation over the past 2.5 years than over the previous 23 years,” Petro Poroshenko emphasized.

“I am happy to see Danish investors in Ukraine,” the Head of State noted. He added that Ukraine has launched an ambitious program of privatization.

The meeting was attended by leadership of Vestas Wind Systems A/S, Carlsberg Group, JYSK, Axzon and others.
