As reported by Censor.NET citing the latest update by the ATO Staff press center, five servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were wounded and two soldiers were killed over the past 24-hour period.

The Russian occupation forces opened fire on Ukrainian troops' positions 48 times yesterday despite the cease-fire deal stricken by the Trilateral Contact Group resolving the armed conflict in the Donbas.

The majority of attacks were recorded in Mariupol direction yesterday: "The enemy fired upon defenders of Berezove with 82 mm mortars, anti-aircraft guns, grenade launchers, and large caliber machine guns. Marines deployed on the outskirts of Hnutove and Vodiane came under fire of IFV-mounted weapons. The enemy shelled our positions in Bohdanivka and Chermalyk with grenade launchers of various systems and employed large-caliber machine guns against the defenders of Shyrokyne and Krasnohorivka. The enemy snipers intensified attacks in the vicinity of Hnutove.

"In Donetsk direction, the Russian-terrorist detachments fired upon our strongholds near Avdiivka and Butivka mine with 120 mm and 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers of various systems, and large-caliber machine guns. The enemy employed 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers, and small arms against positions on the outskirts of Pisky village. The militants shelled the defenders of Verkhniotoretske with grenade launchers. Ukrainian servicemen deployed near Kamianka were attacked with large-caliber machine guns and small arms.

"In Luhansk direction the adversary shelled the strong points on the outskirts of Krymske village with 120 mm mortars.
