At least one person is dead after a terror attacker brought carnage to central London today by mowing down pedestrians on Westminster Bridge and attacking police with a knife in the grounds of the Houses of Parliament More than 12 people are said to have been hit by a vehicle on the bridge. The Daily Mail reported that.

Police said an assailant dressed in black made his way inside the security perimeter of the Palace of Westminster in London on March 22 and stabbed a police officer near the entrance used by members of the House of Commons and the House of Lords.

House of Commons Leader David Lidington said the assailant was shot dead by plainclothes police as he tried to run to the entrance of the Parliament building, reported by RFE/RL.
