Belarus dropped an allegation that a car with armed men, that broke through the Belarus border on the night of March 20, entered from the territory of Ukraine. Oleh Slobodyan, the Border Guard Service officer Oleh Slobodyan reported that on his Facebook page.

He informed that yesterday the border guard officers of the Zhytomyr squad had a meeting with their Belarus counterparts.

Consequently the Belarusian side admitted that 1) there are no grounds to say that the car arrived from the Ukrainian checkpoint, 2) the Belarusian side did violated some cooperation plan items, 3) they take on the obligation to timely inform on the received information.

The parties agreed to inform each other in case of receiving any additional information on the fact of breach

As it was reported, press service of the State Border Committee of the Republic of Belarus reported that an automobile heading from the territory of Ukraine tried to break through the state border in the check-point Aleksandrovka, and the border guards were forced to open fire in order to stop the infringers.

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine stated that the vehicle has never entered Belarus from the territory of Ukraine.
