Russian Federation has suspended pipeline supplies of diesel fuel to Ukraine. This was reported by Interfax referring to the source in the industry.

It is informed that the supplies have been suspended for a month already due to the fact that Federal Service for Technical and Export Control (FSTEC) does not issue required documentation.

The press service of Russian Energy Ministry announced that "the country did not have intergovernmental agreements on oil supplies to Hungary and Ukraine, and deliveries of diesel fuel in these areas are carried out by business entities based on economic feasibility."

At the same time, the department noted that the supplies were halted since February 8, 2017 due to "renegotiated contracts to export petroleum products", according to Transneft.

Ministry of Energy of Russian Federation claims that petroleum products intended for export to Ukraine have been reallocated to other areas, particularly in Primorsk and Novorossiysk.

Russian Transneft said that the company transports petroleum products according to the owner’s request after processing needed export documents.

At the same time, press service of Rosneft which carries out supplies in this direction, informed that petroleum products of the company are supplied in Ukraine and Hungary according to the agreement with company’s partner.
