Petro Poroshenko reminded that Ukraine initiated the reform of justice, which provides for the reload of the whole judicial system and formation of a new Supreme Court of Ukraine. According to him, the majority of candidates to the renewed Supreme Court graduated from Yaroslav the Wise National Law University of Kharkiv.

The President emphasized that the attendees - winners of academic competitions are the future of Ukraine. “Slobozhanshchyna is a powerful center of Ukrainian science, leader of Ukrainian education and cradle of Ukrainian patriots. “Someone here wanted to find a stronghold of the so-called "Novorossiya" three years ago, but they trained and seasoned not just the cradle, but already a powerful line of Ukrainian patriots,” the Head of State noted.

“You, dear young friends, receive education and carry out research activities in times when Ukraine is being reborn, when we defend and understand the value of our independence. Ukraine expects an active civil stand and creative thinking from you,” the President said.
