Grads also fired in Luhansk region this week

OSCE Special Monitoring Mission reports intense shelling from Grad multiple rocket launchers in the combat area of ATO. The OSCE SMM deputy head Alexander announced that during his briefing, 112 TV channel reported.

“Increase in use of multiple artillery rocket systems is of special concern. Our camera in Shyrokyne spotted Grad fire three nights in a row on Friday, Saturday and Sunday last week. There were 140 rockets fired in the direction of North-Eastern Mariupol,” noted Hug.

Hug also mentioned they also spotted Grads in Luhansk region on November 4 – 6.

As it was reported earlier, Hnutove checkpoint could not start functioning regularly because of militants’ attacks. Other checkpoints in ATO area work regularly.

Hug urged parties to the conflict to stop the attacks as OSCE predicts deterioration of security situation in Donbas region in winter

The security situation in Donbas in winter will be even worse. This was reported during the briefing by the first deputy chairman of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM), Alexander Hug.

“When winter comes, the hardships faced by the civilian population in Eastern Europe will become even more acute in the next few months”, - he said.
