The officers of the Eighth Kyiv Prosecutors Office together with the Cyber-police and the criminal investigation department of the National Police officers disclosed a big underground storage of a big weapon and ammunition arsenal. This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv Prosecutors Office.

The arms cache was equipped in an underground bunker on the territory of the dacha community in Boryspil region in Kyiv region.

During the perquisition by the counterexplosive office experts and canine center, 60 items of the shells similar to the Grad rockets, 2 items similar to the shells for the shoulder-fired SAMs, 4 items similar to the shells for the IFVs (infantry combat vehicles), about 200 items of weapons similar to anti-tank mines, tripod-mounted man-portable antitank guns, rocket-propelled grenade launchers and armor-piercing projectiles.

An armoured fighting vehicle also found at the location.

The perquisition is underway at the moment. When finished, the found items shall be ceased and sent for the expertise.

Within the pretrial investigation, a criminal case is initiated for illicit weapon, ammunition and explosives handling. The law enforcers are identifying the weapons supply chain.
