Militants refuse giving up to Russia as they view the surrendering as a trap.

Rebel forces in Syria refuse to accept Russian demand to leave their positions in besieged Syrian city of Aleppo, Zakaria Malahifji, a spokesperson of Fastaqim faction told Reuters, reports

"This is completely out of the question. We will not give up the city of Aleppo to the Russians and we won't surrender", he added.

Previously Russia's defence ministry told that it would allow civilians and militants to leave the city during the halt on air strikes by Russian and Syrian forces.

Russian promises of safe passes proved false, according to militants spokesman.

"It's not true. Civilians and fighters are not leaving. Civilians are afraid of the regime, they don't trust it. And the fighters are not surrendering," he said.

Earlier Putin claimed about war in Syria: Russia is showing restraint but our patience has limits - you'll end up on the losing side.
