War in Ukraine: 40 ceasefire violations in the Donbas region over the last 24 hours

According to the anti-terrorist operation press service, there were 40 ceasefire violations in the Donbas region over the last 24 hours, 112.international reports.

10 attacks spotted in the Luhansk region, near Novoalexandrivka, Novozvanivka and Stanytsya Luhanska.

Russia-backed militants opened fire 18 times from infantry fighting vehicle, automatic grenade launchers and small arms near Maryinka, Starognativka, Shyrokyne and Pavlopil. Snipers were spotted in Maryinka.

The enemy violated the ceasefire state in the Donetsk region 12 times. The gunmen engaged fire from mortar and infantry fighting vehicle in Zaitsevo and Nyzhne Lozove, and from machine guns and small arms in Verknhetoretske, Nyzhne Lozove, Zaitsevo and Avdiivka.

'Fortunately, none of our servicemen was killed in the hostilities over the past day, yet three were wounded,' Ukrainian Defense Ministry spokesman Andriy Lysenko said, according to Interfax-Ukraine.

The Russian occupation forces used mainly grenade launchers, machine-guns, and small arms to fire on Ukrainian positions.

'What is more, Maryinka was under sniper fire, while an infantry fighting vehicle was used to attack Starohnativka,' the ATO HQ said.
