Honcharenko approached the sector of the Opposition Bloc and attempted to place a pack of hard tacks on the chair of Opposition Bloc’s MP Mykola Skoryk.
Olexiy Honcharenko and Mykola Skoryk, the belligerents, shared their reaction to the incident with the press.
Olexiy Honcharenko, Deputy Head of Petro Poroshenko’s Bloc parliamentary faction: 'I brought Skoryk some dry toasts, because he’s going to need them soon, and he’s got to get used to this idea by now. I brought them for him to understand what comes next.'
Mykola Skoryk, MP from the Opposition Bloc: 'Olexiy Honcharenko has spent most of his political career in the Party of Regions. In 2007, this political force created party faction in Odesa, which supported Viktor Yanukovych, and he was part of this force. I’m even glad to have him as my… say, prosecutor. But the thing is, he actually brought these toasts to himself. Mr. Honcharenko is quite mean, opportunistic man, not the brightest bulb in the shed, to put it softly.'
