North Korea announces new rocket engine test
North Korea says it has successfully tested a new rocket engine and will begin preparations for another satellite launch, RFE/RL reports.

Pyongyang is also working to develop nuclear-armed missiles with ranges that could strike the U.S. mainland.
Earlier this month, North Korea conducted its first nuclear test, its most powerful to date.
