Borys Filatov condemned the responsible committee’s decision to host the song contest in the Ukrainian capital

'The mice cried and hurt themselves due to the sharp pricks, but stubbornly continued to eat the cactus. This is how I would describe the actions of authorities in Kyiv. They made a farce with five-time announcement of the winner city; however, they did know from the very beginning that they would never give up control over the cash flow and respective contracts – in favor of other major cities, the regional centres'. Borys Filatov, the mayor of Dnipro city (southeastern Ukraine), posted this on his Facebook page, reports.

He added he was sorry for Odesa that lost in the final of the competition. Previously, Dnipro and Lviv were also knocked out of it.

As reported earlier by, Saakashvili: 'Decision on Eurovision in Kyiv is another case of rigged bids.'
