Russia’s defense ministry reported that Tupolev Tu-22M3 long-range bombers and Su-34 attackers delivered an airstrike on ISIS infrastructure in Deir ez-Zor province in Syria, 112.international reports.
The aircraft took off from airfields in Russia and Iran. Five large arms caches with weapons, ammunition and fuel supplies were destroyed during the attack, the authority says.
'Six command posts, large number of militants, artillery positions and armored vehicles of the terrorists,' the Russian defense ministry said.
