Police officer died after clashes in Yerevan

The law-enforcement bodies of Armenia banned the sale of weapons in the country after the July 17 capture of the Regiment patrol department by an armed group in Yerevan.Interfax agency reports this referring to a source in law enforcements.

'We brought the selling weapons under control. Certain types of weapons have been banned for sale. Restrictions will continue', the source said.

The officials made the corresponding work with persons who have the right to possess firearms, as well as representatives of the Union of Hunters.

According to Armenian media, only the air guns are sold now. They do not cause any danger and do not require registration.
