The court ordered the Prosecutor General's Office to question Yanukovych in Russia in the case of getting money for a written a book - lawyer

With reference to Ukrainian News112.international reports:

Pechersk District Court of Kyiv Prosecutor General's Office ordered the investigator to question former Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych in Russia as a suspect in receiving 26 million hryvnia bribe under the guise of royalties for the book. This was stated by the Yanukovich's lawyer Vitaliy Serdyuk.

'Last week Pechersk court ordered the investigator to go to Russia and question Yanukovych in the case of alleged illegal receipt of royalties,' - Vitaliy Serdyuk said.

The lawyer also said that earlier the Prosecutor General's Office refused to send investigators for questioning Yanukovych to Russia, fearing for their safety, but now the court ordered to do so.

Also, the defender said that Pechersk court refused to consider another case against Yanukovych on taking possession of the hunting grounds 'Suholuche' and sent the case to the High Specialized Court to determine the jurisdiction

Another criminal proceeding on embezzling of 200 million hryvnia from Ukrtelecom against the former President is at the stage of pre-trial investigation for over a year. It is not yet sent to court.
