Yerevan: Activists decline policemen’s offers to render medical aid to their wounded comrades

Protesters capture doctors as they come to help the wounded reports: 

'According to Ashot Agaronyan, Chief of the PR Department of the Armenian police, the armed protesters captured hostages again, though most recently they released everyone. The protesters reported that two of their comrades are wounded; the police offered medical assistance, but the rebels refused (Armenia News).

‘The families of the wounded protesters urged to transport them to a medical establishment. The law enforcers provided the necessary conditions; but when the doctors reached the patrol guard post taken by the rebels, they were taken hostages,’ Agaronyan reported.

The negotiations to release the medics are no underway. The rebels still refuse to give away their weapons.
