Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko assumes Ukraine’s losses in the event of a full-scale war with the Russian Federation may reach 10,000-12,000 people within the first two days of an open confrontation, journalist Roman Bochkala wrote on his Facebook page.

Muzhenko has noted Ukraine faces no such threat at the moment, Unian reports.

'There was an opportunity to ask the Chief of the General Staff, Viktor Muzhenko, how likely the probability was of the introduction of martial law? The question was asked in connection with recent statements by the National Security and Defense Council, which stirred concerns among many people. The answer was: there is no threat of such a level at the moment. We have enough forces and resources,' the journalist wrote quoting Muzhenko as saying.

Muzhenko also said that 'in the case of a full-scale Russian aggression, the losses of the Ukrainian army in the first two days of confrontation will total an estimated 10,000-12,000 people'.
