A citizen of Ukraine was killed as a result of the terrorist attack on the French Riviera, while another Ukrainian got serious injuries, the Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin says.
'One Ukrainian citizen killed and one injured in Nice. My sincere condolences. Our consular people working around the clock with French authorities,' the minister wrote.
Earlier, the main Ukrainian diplomat wrote that it was terrible to send congratulations and condolences on the same National Day.
'We support and we will win. Only together. I’m shocked by the attack in Nice. My prayers for the victims. We support the people of France,' Klimkin wrote.
As of 7 am on July 14, 84 people became victims of the attack. More than 100 people were injured, 18 of them are in critical condition right now. A Russian woman also is among the victims.
