Guards admit that the first flowers were brought at 2 a.m.
'These were two young men. They came and laid flowers. There were tears on their eyes. They stood for a few minutes and then left. The stream of people is endless. This is real human solidarity and unity,' the diplomatic mission’s staff said.
At the same time the flags of France and the EU at the French embassy in Kiev were half-masted due to the national tragedy.
A citizen of Ukraine died as a result of the terrorist attack. Another Ukrainian was injured there.
The terrorist turned out to be a 31-year-old native of Tunisia. He was shot dead by the police.
