The heads of Azerbaijan and Ukraine have reached an agreement on military-technical cooperation, the head of the Caucasian republic Ilham Aliyev says.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met his Ukrainian counterpart Petro Poroshenko. The parties discussed the most important issues of the strategic partnership. According to Aliyev, they are going to develop bilateral cooperation in the field of military industry, the 1492 Russian Service reports.
Making a statement to journalists, the head of Azerbaijan said that the parties had defined their priority for the nearest future. It’s the creation of industrial complexes, especially in heavy industry. Both countries have enough potential for this, Aliyev thinks.
In addition to the meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart Petro Poroshenko is going to meet representatives of the most influential institutions in the country in the framework of his official visit.
