Ukraine offers its Mriya and Ruslan planes to NATO

Ukraine has offered the alliance to use all the potentials of the Antonov State Enterprise during the summit in Warsaw.

Ukrainian Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak advertised Ruslan and Mriya planes to the partners.

According to the minister, the Ukrainian planes are perfect for strategic air transporting, the department’s press service reports. Furthermore, this partnership would be essential for the interests of global security, Stepan Poltorak said. He also stressed that Ukraine had great experience in preventing hybrid threats. And the knowledge Ukraine has got due to the events in the east, will be useful for NATO countries. Stepan Poltorak offers NATO to work on compatibility to study and counter these threats.

According to the minister, the NATO countries positively accepted the offer. Ukraine will start to implement its initiative in the nearest future.
