The US will ask Russia to influence Damascus, so that the Syrian air force would stop bombing the opposition.

On July 14, the US Secretary of State John Kerry will visit Moscow. He can offer the exchange of intelligence and operational information on Syria there.

The US in its turn will offer Russia to influence Damascus, so that the Syrian air force would stop bombing the opposition carrying out humanitarian and evacuation operations only.

The agreement is expected to let Washington and Moscow focus on attacks of militants from Daesh and Jabhat al-Nusra.

According to the press secretary of the Russian president, the meeting probably will include talks on bilateral relations of our countries on the conflicts in Ukraine and Syria.

'We are working on possibilities of the meeting. I can say that the president Vladimir Putin will meet the Secretary of State Kerry and the Minister Lavrov in the afternoon on Thursday. The topics for discussion are predictable: these are Syria, Ukraine, and matters of bilateral relations,' Dmitry Peskov said.

Earlier, the State Department revealed Kerry’s tasks in Moscow. He’s going to discuss 'various approaches' to settle the conflict in Syria.

As reported earlier by 1492news.com, The White House has warned that in case of continuation of aggressiveness on the part of Russia, NATO will retaliate.
