The situation is getting more complicated due to the fact that the parties are eager to recapture the so-called buffer zone and have come quite close to each other.
According to a recent report published by the UN, earlier the distance between the Ukrainian troops and the LDPR’s terrorists used to be at least 1.5-2 kilometers. However, it has been reduced to 300-500 meters. This especially is noticeable in the direction of Donetsk.
'The distance between the parties of the conflict has been reduced up to 300 meters in Stanitsa Luhanskaya and in some other places - up to 500 meters. And earlier, the positions of the militants and the AFU were separated by at least 2 km,' the report says.
Experts note that the situation on the front line has been worsened. They explain this situation with the fact that participants of the armed conflict are coming closer to the enemy positions in the desire to get control over the buffer zone in eastern Ukraine.
The civilians of the occupied Donbass have been suffering much from the intensive battles in the last two weeks. Thus, in June 2016, they registered a record number of attacks on the victims in comparison to the same period of 2015. Some of the civilians became victims of the attacks which had been carried with weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements.
As reported earlier by 1492news.com, LDPR’s terrorists perform 56 powerful blows on Ukrainian Armed Forces along front line.
