The leader of Batkivschina political party Yulia Tymoshenko openly accused the Cabinet of Ministers of stagnation of salaries and pensions, as well as of unreasonable tariffs for the population of Ukraine.

Ukrainian people's deputy Yulia Tymoshenko stressed that in the memorandum, which had been signed during the global financial crisis of 2009, the price of gas for the poor was 484 UAH per 1,000 cubic meters and for the solvent ones - 732 UAH.

At the moment, 1,000 cubic meters of gas costs 6,789 UAH.

'The government that I used to head, would never allow such stagnation of pensions and salaries, such terrible, unreasonable tariffs, which have become large-scale corruption for clans which continue to rule the country!' the former prime minister said.

According to Batkivschina’s leader, the policy of the current government is cruel, irresponsible and absolutely unprofessional. 'It has led to the tragic economical fall and the fact that people cannot buy even some food for themselves!' Tymoshenko concluded.

Ukraine will create a temporary investigative commission on the gas tariffs. Petro Poroshenko’s Bloc has supported its creation.
