The Ukrainian representative in the trilateral contact group Olga Ayvazovskaya has explained the conditions for possible amnesty to members of armed groups in the occupied territories of Ukraine, and why the question of liberation of hostages is temporarily frozen.

The coordinator of the Opora who represents the interests of Ukraine in the trilateral contact group Olga Ayvazovskaya says that the release from criminal responsibility of the armed groups in the territories of Donbass and Luhansk is possible only after the full elections in the east of the country, which would be held according to all the democratic norms. The judiciary should be restored. One can talk about the amnesty only after these steps, 1492news russian service reports.

Moreover, Ayvazovskaya explains why the process of release of prisoners is in a frozen state now. According to her, the process is blocked due to consideration of the conditions which have been received from the LDPR and Russia again. The Ukrainian side has reached understanding with the OSCE on the matter and looks forward to further progress.
