The Prime Minister of Canada met Ukrainian heroes from ATO, who had been protecting Ukraine in the Donbass, just after his arrival in Ukraine.

The meeting was attended by journalists, activists and diplomats. It was held in Mystetskyi arsenal.

Trudeau took a photo with the veterans of ATO. A well-known Ukrainian journalist Vitaliy Portnikov posted it on his page in Facebook.

The Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau arrived in Ukraine yesterday. He is going to meet Petro Poroshenko, Volodymyr Groysman and Andriy Parubiy. It is reported that the two countries will sign an agreement on a free trade zone.

Furthermore, Trudeau is to lay flowers at the memorial to the Heavenly Hundred, the Monument of Eternal Glory at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the memorial to the victims of the Holodomor and the monument at Babi Yar in Kiev.

In addition, Canada and Ukraine are going to sign an agreement on regulation of the cooperation between the two countries in the sphere of arms trade.
