Six Ukrainian cities have provided formal applications for the right to host the most popular song contest, the Minister of Culture Yevhen Nyshchuk says.
'According to my information, these are 6 cities: Lviv, Kyiv, Odessa, Dnipro, Kharkiv and Kherson,' Yevhen Nyshchuk reported.
According to Yevhen Nyshchuk, taking into account all the requirements to the contest, including places in hotels of different levels, the number of air terminals and others, Kherson is the most probable candidate to lose this competition.
'I welcome the application of Kherson, as this says on realizing of its need to develop the infrastructure and logistics. But Kherson will face the greatest number of problems,' the politician stressed.
Furthermore, Nyshchuk notes that other cities still have equal chances to win.
At the same time, the official highlighted Kyiv, Odessa and Lviv, and the fact that Dnipro is ready to invest a lot of money in the development of its infrastructure.
