The parliamentary session was closed before the start.
The Verkhovna Rada will continue its work on July 12. There will be no session on Friday, the parliament’s chairman Andriy Parubiy says.
'We are to meet representatives of the government headed by the Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman today, but it’d be difficult for you to work under these conditions, I’m afraid,' Parubiy mentioned.
According to the Speaker, the parliament will continue its work, 'but today, unfortunately, it’s impossible to hold a session under the conditions which were created by some colleagues,' - he said.
'That’s why I’m cancelling the morning session of the Verkhovna Rada,' Parubiy said without announcing the opening of a plenary session.
The Speaker mentioned that on Friday, the Ukrainian government had to respond to people's deputies on matters relating to tariffs.
People’s deputies were blocking a rostrum and didn’t let the Speaker take his place. Thus, he spoke from the room with a microphone.
As reported earlier by 1492news.com, Batkivschina won’t stop blocking rostrum but is to send its representative to working group on tariffs.
