Russia was harbouring a grudge against Ukraine even when the Russian-Ukrainian relations used to be much better, Anna Fotyga, the former head of the Polish Foreign Ministry says.
'There are some experts who claim that Russia was preparing for aggression against Ukraine for more than 10 years. This great propagandistic war has been going on even at the relatively quiet phases of the Russian-Ukrainian dialogue,' Fotyga said.
She also notes that she has never been and won’t be not only a supporter of easing and lifting of anti-Russian sanctions. According to her, if she were able to impact something she would choose a different direction for sanctions. Moreover, she is aware that Europe is to face more difficulties in future.
The former head of the Polish Foreign Minister emphasized that the report on the Russian propaganda, which had been prepared by the MPs who oppose Putin’s regime, revealed all the stages of preparation for military aggression in Ukraine.
It was Anna Fotyga who became an organizer of the report on Russia’s crimes in the Donbass. It was read by the deputy of the Polish parliament Malgozhata Gosevskaya in 2014.
