The leaders of the trade unions from different regions of Ukraine have come to the Prime Minister to discuss the problem of inconsistencies between the existing salaries and the new tariffs for public utilities.

'Volodymyr Groysman meets the trade unions, who have come to the Cabinet. The government is open to a dialogue,' PM’s spokesman Dmitriy Stolyarchuk wrote in Twitter.

When commenting on the situation, Volodymyr Groysman noted that 'it’s impossible just to give money to the poor to make them even poorer, by switching a printing-press on.'

The meeting against the increase of prices for utilities started at the Verkhovna Rada and the Cabinet of Ministers. The protesters had a talk with a number of people's deputies including Savchenko, Tymoshenko, Lyashko and others.
