The President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan addressed to his fellow citizens due to the end of the holy month of Ramadan. His solemn speech paid particular attention to the international situation.

According to the President, Turkey is actively developing relations with Israel and Russia. 'The positive dynamics of the last few weeks allows us to look into the future with optimism,' he said.

Moreover, Erdogan highly appreciated the actions of Turkish army and police, which have been fighting against Daesh and Kurdish separatists. 'May the grace of Allah be with fallen heroes. Turkish nation never will be broken with cowardly attacks, which really desecrated Ramadan,' the head of the state said.

The President highlighted the war in Syria. According to him, it has already taken 600,000 lives. 'Turkey will become home to the brothers and sisters who have fled from the war, and we will make every effort for a fair solution of the Syrian problem,' the politician promised.

He expresses confidence that the period of global economic instability caused by Brexit, won’t hurt Turkey, whose economy and political system have been significantly strengthened under AKP’s rule.
