The members of Ukrainian parliament are developing a bill on organization of elections in the territory of the Donbass that is uncontrolled by the government, the statement of Self Reliance’s head Oleh Berezyuk reads.

'The law is now being developed in the depths of the Verkhovna Rada and I am very interested to know who has charged the Justice Committee and its Chairman with development of the bill on elections in the occupied territories,' the official said at a meeting of the Council of Conciliation.

According to Berezyuk, the previous parliament adopted a number of laws on amnesty for militants of the self-proclaimed 'republics', but they have not signed them yet.

The Self Reliance’s head noted that as of today, a bill on amnesty for Ukrainian defenders has not been approved yet.

According to Dialog.UA, earlier the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has called a number of conditions, which are the only chance to organize elections in the occupied regions of Donetsk and Luhansk.
