The Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman commented on state of reforms and predicted when the country could become a member of the European Union.

According to the Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman, the signing of the Ukraine-European Union Association Agreement would stimulate Kiev for making reforms.

'I am convinced that Ukraine will be in the EU in ten years. We are following European way and this means freedom, human rights and strong economy for us,' he said.

The PM says that Ukraine has made some progress in fighting corruption and modernizing legislation according to European standards.

'We need to bring our standards in line with the EU standards. We have done a lot, especially in relation to our fighting against corruption. For example, we have created a completely transparent system of public procurement,' Groysman says.

Furthermore, the head of the Cabinet stresses that Kyiv still needs to improve the investment climate and judicial reform on its way to European integration.
