According to Hryniv, Poroshenko should achieve really extraordinary results to become a president for the second time.

Petro Poroshenko Bloc’s leader Ihor Hryniv is sure that the current president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko will be elected for the second term.

'Is there any doubt that Petr Alekseevich will go for the second term? As I see it, there are no doubts at all. The President will be elected for the second term, and this is terrible and great responsibility,' he said, adding that Poroshenko knows he should achieve really extraordinary results to become the president for the second time.

According to Hryniv, the credibility to the government has been reduced and they are raising the question of authorities’ responsibility more often. This will make great problems for the current president.

'If the demands for Poroshenko were the same, we could do like Yanukovych did - to jump on stumps and go to the election campaign. But everything has been changed now. It’d be difficult to enter the Ukrainian history and to get a monument in the state without real reforms, without any open position,' he explained.

According to Hryniv, Poroshenko can get quite unexpected rivals during the next presidential elections. 'You know, sociologists are now looking at Vladimir Zelenskiy. People definitely are smarter than all the politicians. I am even surprised with that,' he said.

On June 7, 2014, the citizens of Ukraine elected the fifth president of Ukraine. It is the Ukrainian politician, social activist and businessman Petro Poroshenko. The next presidential elections are to be held in 2019, as the head of the state usually is elected for the term of 5 years.
