The former head of Ukrainian government Arseniy Yatsenyuk has arrived in Washington to meet the US politicians there.
The post about his visit appeared on the former PM’s page in Facebook.
In particular, the former official has already met the US Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker and the US Secretary of the Treasury Jacob Lew.
The talks between Yatsenyuk and the US Vice-President Joseph Biden is scheduled to be held on June 28.
Yatsenyuk also is going to meet American senators John McCain, Richard Durbin, Robert Corker and a number of other key members of the Democrats and Republicans.
Moreover, Yatsenyuk will have a talk with the First Deputy Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund David Lipton.
Yatsenyuk's visit to Washington was initiated by the White House. The Ukrainian politician was invited by the US officials.
In addition, the ex-PM will visit the pre-opening night screening of the documentary movie 'Breaking Point' that tells about the Revolution of Dignity in the territory of Ukraine. The movie’s creators interviewed Yatsenyuk to include his words in the movie.
