According to the former Minister of Defence Anatoliy Hrytsenko, the member states of the EU will decide on lifting anti-Russian sanctions by the end of 2016.
'The talks at the public level are at least as follows: 'We will now prolong the sanctions for another six months, and then everything will be finished,' Hrytsenko said.
In his opinion, one of the reasons for such a step is tiredness, but the motive for it may become some freezing of the conflict in the Donbass.
Earlier, Hrytsenko spoke against the elections in the Donbass.
If the elections in Donetsk and Luhansk regions are to be held in the nearest future, they will play not into the hands of Ukraine, but the Kremlin’s government.
As reported earlier by 1492news.com, Russia promises 'good' gas prices for Ukraine.
