The attacker tried to take possession of a policeman’s gun.
The young man was going to make an attempt at the billionaire. He was arrested on Saturday during Donald Trump’s speech in Las Vegas (Nevada).
Michael Sandford, 19, attended Trump’s rally that ensured his nomination for the US president from the Republican Party. The man came to a police officer who was keeping order at the event in Las Vegas. Sandford spoke to him pretending he’d like to get Trump’s autograph. However, at some moment the man took the policeman’s gun that was in a holster and tried to pull it out.
Sandford was detained and admitted that he was going to get the cop’s gun in order to kill the billionaire. During the interrogation, he also told the police that he had made a trip from California to Las Vegas to make an attempt. Furthermore, he had been visited a local shooting range to train in weapons a few days before the incident.
Donald Trump is a candidate for nomination for US president from the Republican Party. He believes that the country should seriously consider the need to introduce a careful collection of information about American Muslims after the mass shooting in Orlando.
